This weeks challenge for Make it Monday was to use layered embossing.
I've always had limited success with embossing but am beginning to appreciate the merits of a clear, detail embossing powder for making stamps "pop".
I decided to use 2 different inks to build the design but to stick with the clear after my first attempt with colored embossing powders didn't look clean enough.
The medallion is actually 4 different stamps from the "simply stationery" set which allowed me to interweave the 2 colors - Simply Chartreuse and Lemon Tart.
A simple sentiment from the "little labels" set and it's all done.
Supplies:
Ink:
PTI Simply Chartreuse and Lemon Tart
Memento Tuxedo black
Card stock:
PTI Simply Chartreuse and Lemon Tart
Stamps:
PTI Little Labels and Simply Stationery
Misc:
Stampendous Detail clear embossing powder
