Make It Monday #114: Blown Ink

Well, fair to say that this won't be making it on my list of favourite techniques.
The inability to control where the ink was going just didn't work for me.
This is the first of 2 cards - one using lots of blown ink, the second using as little as I could get away with!
For this card I started by stamping the background stars on Spring Rain cardstock using a HeroArts stamp with versamark ink and then using a clear embossing powder so they would show through the ink. This part at least worked as planned.
There are 3 distress ink in the blown background - weathered wood, stormy skies and shaded lilac.
The sentiment and frame are Framed out #7 stamped on Spring Rain. the frame is dusted with perfect pearls (as per last weeks technique).
I stamped a few of the stars from PTI Star prints onto the card stock (both Spring rain and the purple/blue I matted the card on) using storny skies ink and Memento London Fog.
The frame and stars are on dimensionals to give them some height.
