All of the chevrons on PTI's countdown posts made me want to pull out the chevron stripes background basics.
I picked the stripe with one thick stripe and 2 thin stripes and tried to stamp it so the thin stripes overlapped onto the thick stripe of the previous (lighter) color to give a feeling of the colors gradually transitioning. It is clearer on some colors that other.
The colors throughout are all PTI - Lemon tart, Harvest gold, Summer sunrise, Orange zest and Terracotta tile with Memento Rich cocoa for the sentiments and final stripe.
I stamped the banners from Countdown collection is a selection of the colors and took the "happy" from 2011 Birthday tags with the birthday part masked out. These are stuck on with foam pads.
The bottom sentiment and striped box are from Stylish sentiments - birthday, again stamped in a grogression of the 3 lighter colors.
