SSS Monday Challenge

This Monday challenge at Simon Says stamp this week is Anything but plain paper.
I decided to play along and do something very different for me.
I made the bird from scrunched up newspaper held in shape with tape, added wire feet and cardboard tail and beak. It was then covered with tissue paper and lots and lots of modge podge.
The sentiment was stamped on the tissue paper with stazon ink, and then pasted onto the body form.
I need to work on my basic bird shape - the head looks a bit big in the cold light of day, but it's certainly something I've never tried before and isn't that what challenges are supposed to be!

    Now HOW CUTE is this? I love your originality with this theme and the dimensional little bird that you've made! He's so cute!     Oh... what a cute bird and I think the shape is totally awesome! Sarah. The stamping on the bird is brilliant and the color is very pretty. It is the best decoration in any room in the house. Thank you so much for sharing your inspirational work at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. :)
