MIM #135

I love when I don't work on Mondays - it gives me a chance to catch up on the weeks challenges and get a head start on Papertrey Ink's Make it Monday.
The fancy title is "layered emboss resist" and Heather's video was about the quickest I've ever seen, but very straightforward.
I keep going back to these tree images from the "Tree with Trimmings" set. Its obviously my go-to set for Christmas this year. The sentiment got a little lost in with the music score, but as the music is also for "Have yourself a Merry little Christmas" I just couldn't resist putting them together.

  1. I like it...I also like that you rounded one corner and added dashed lines! the trees are subtle, but they are seen!!

  2. Just love this card. I often find myself with a sentiment lost on the front of a card. Love my backgrounds, but sentiments tend to get lost in all of the 'noise.' I wonder if a quick strip of vellum with the sentiment stamped on it would work. Trees and music would still show!
