MIM #147 - summer hills

I recently bought the "Summer Hills" stamp set, having had so much fun with the "Holiday Home" set. However, when it arrived I couldn't immediately get a feeling for ways to use it - perhaps because I don't use copics a whole lot and so many of these stamps are outlines.
However, this weeks MIM challenge seemed tailor made for this set so I got it out and had a play.
It turned into a paper piecing extravaganza.
Most of the fields were stamped with patterns from the bitty background blocks and stuck on with ATG. The trees and building were layered with glue dots or foam tape depending on which was the top image and the tiny quilts are also on foam.
I love the way the tree pattern worked out - they are all memento inks - sweet plum, lulu lavender, new sprout and bamboo leaves.
