PTI Anniversary - Honoring Moms

Some time ago on a Make it Monday, Erin demonstrated how to used die cuts to mask and build up layers, which is the approach I decided to take for this card for the "build a bouquet" challenge in Papertrey Ink's Anniversary celebrations.
I still love the Simply Sunflowers stamp set. It's a $5 marvel and my go to floral set. I used Canyon clay ink for the flowers and Simply chartreuse for the leaves. Truth be told I had intended to leave the surrounding card white, but I picked up a little green ink on the side of my hand and, well, as a stamper you can guess the rest.
The flower centres are die cut and popped up on glue dots, but everything else is one layer.

  1. What a lovely bouquet of sunflowers! Don't you love it when "happy accidents" work out in your favor? The background is so soft and dreamy. Perfect for this card!
