An homage to Maile Belles was the challenge for this day at the Papertrey Ink Anniversary celebrations. I love what Maile does, but I'm afraid I've done little more than swipe her ideas rather than adapting them to my own!
I tried to be clever with the mini blooms set and, after inking the whole stamp with Aqua mist ink I then went back in with the corner of some different ink pads to give some variety of colours. Sadly they all look a bit sludgy but the thought was there.
I popped a few die cut flowers and leaves on top for dimension and added aqua rhinestones.
And, of course, I had to try tipping the top layer at an angle.
