I've been eying up the new ombre ink pads from Hero Arts, so it was good to have a reminder in this weeks Make it Monday challenge at Papertrey Ink that it's pretty to achieve a similar result just from my existing inks.
I decided to use the new Gingham background stamp, and used Summer Sunrise, Orange zest, Canyon Clay and Terracotta tile inks to create the ombre effect.
I still can't get enough of the "swoosh" stamp and die set - it's just so versatile.

Wow! So precise...I can't even see where the background repeats. Really interesting colors, too.
ReplyDeleteI missed out on the Swoosh dies at release time, and mine just came today. I'm looking forward to trying them.
