MIM #254

Something new (to me anyway) at this week's Make it Monday challenge at Papertrey ink. Ashley showed us how to water colour directly onto texture paste, with the stencil still in place, and the result was really pretty.
I used the Tim Holtz Blossom stencil, and then added simply chartreuse, lovely lady and hibiscus burst inks pretty randomly (although I did make sure to get all the stems green). The result reminds me of sweet peas.
I didn't actually want to add a sentiment as I thought the flowers looked so pretty, so I kept it very open. I cut the biggest circle from Limitless layers die set and then cut the solid circle out of the middle giving me a very light frame which I sponged with the 2 pink inks. The "wishes" strip is being used to hold the whole sentiment bit to the card front with foam tape, while the Birthday (from Swoosh die set) is attached to the frame with a couple of dots of glue.
