SSS Monday - Go fish

My son is about to start his junior year of High school, and everyone keeps warning us that this one is a real doozy, so I thought I'd make a supply of "hold in there" type cards for when those moments arrive.
This card, for the Go fish challenge at Simon Says Stamp - Monday, is the first of those.
I used a this tutorial from Splitcoast stampers for the background, using acetate, tissue paper and re-inkers, and Avery Elle's Swim team stamp set.
I had the silver anchor charm which, as I'm not going to have to post the card, I thought I'd use rather than a die cut.

  1. Wow, your background is amazing, Sarah! I love the tiny fish swimming around and the way it actually looks like there's a current going through the water. Great job! Thanks for joining us on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.

  2. Hi Sarah!
What a fun and super creative card. You have so much talented, and I'd be honored to have you share your talents with us. I would like to warmly invite you to stop by these two SUPER FUN challenge blogs. It would be a BIG blessing to have you play along with us at both:
Word Art Wednesday – Always Anything Goes/Family Friendly

    CropStop – Always Anything Goes

Both challenge blogs offer AWESOME prizes, and I’d be thrilled to have you join us. Hope to see you there soon.

  3. Wow!!! That background is phenomenal Sarah! It seriously feels like we are looking up to the surface and seeing the sun through the water. What a great card for your son. Congrats on your spotlight at SSSMonday Challenge. -- Mary Elizabeth
