Today's snow day will, hopefully, give me a chance to have a go at a few of the challenges from Papertrey Ink's 10th anniversary celebrations. This one is from Day 1.
It seems wrong to have a stitching day challenge without a scrap of stitching, but once I'd stacked all the squares the stitching seemed like overkill. The inspiration was Maile's nested square design.
The great thing about this was I got two cards for the work of one! I used nesting square dies on a sheet of patterned and a sheet of plain paper and alternated them on a card base. I trimmed it to a 4 1/4 inch square once it was all assembled and used the big basics dies to add a bold sentiment in dark indigo cardstock.
