PTI September Blog hop

Why do the blog hops always catch me unawares? I see the picture at the end of each release cycle and then it goes completely out of my mind until I happen across something on facebook on the actual day. Anyway, as it happened today I had immediate need of a masculine get well soon card so that is what I did with this months inspiration picture.

Isn't it pretty? Love the chalkboard background, and it works especially well as the card is for a retired principal.
My cat was obsessed with "helping". He's the reason for the patchy embossing (a tail works well to remove unset embossing powder apparently) and he also had a quick lick of card base before I spotted him - maybe he was helping to blend?
