I'm using this week's Simon says stamp Monday challenge as an excuse to get to all those little crafty projects that I've been storing up on pinterest to have a go at.
This uses the TH on the edge Townscape die, and the bottom of an oatmeal drum that I've been saving for this project for at least a year now!
I was thinking about Murano, which is why the bottom is blue, as if the houses border the lagoon. To get a watery feel I smeared on some texture paste and let that dry before sponging on some distress inks. The houses were painted with gesso, and then coloured with distress markers.
