MIM #324

Still gearing up for graduation, and getting the last teacher thank you cards done. This one is for this week's Make it Monday challenge at Papertrey Ink
I didn't have any of the stamps suggested, but rummaged through my stamps and found this one, which has some little dots around the waves. They are very little dots though, which caused a few issues with the technique.
I started out trying to use Ranger's enamel accents but had very poor results. I don't know if it's because they've been sitting for a year or so but neither colour held it's shape and just formed a puddle as it dried. Very disappointing. So I switched to some Nuvo drops which did much better, although I don't have any in bright colours - just a pale aqua, blue and almost colourless grey.
This picture sort of shows the raised dots - my camera really didn't like focusing in this tight.
Hoping to play again with this technique once school's out.

  1. Sarah, I love this with the waves and sailboat! I also used the waves for my card, but I like that you used different colors, it's much more appealing (I only used white.)
