This week we were challenged to make a card that encapsulated our favourite things about fall. One thing I love is getting the chance to do some knitting. Who wants to knit when it's 90 degrees out? Not me, that's for sure. So this time of year I'm itching to get the needles out.
The card is inspired by the colours in some wool I bought from a fabulous shop in Bethlehem, Vermont while we were up there last week. I used mix and mat: plaid and coloured the pattern in with some markers, layering card stock for the frames.
Honestly, I'm not sure what I'm going to use the card for, but the sentiment seemed perfect for the season.
