PTI Blog Hop - High Gloss #5

Since I had the UTEE out anyway, I thought I'd have another go at the "Cracked Glass" technique from a tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers. I'm playing along with this month's Blog Hop at Papertrey Ink.
I used "Life" and "larger than Life" stamps in Plum pudding to stamp the panel and added a few accents to the flowers with a white gel pen. I then followed the steps from the tuturial - here.
The background is stamped with Background basics - text style in Blueberry sky ink which was a bit too bright so I then painted over it with gesso to mute it a little. I then stamped a few more of the flowers, having stamped off first, in Autumn rose and Winter Wisteria.
The sentiment frame is from Label basics, and the sentiment is from the new "Keep it Simple - Thank you" mini set stamped in Smoky shadow.

  1. Wow - you have been a very busy stamper! All of your submissions for the hop are great - but I like this one the best! First of all, Life and Larger than Life are two of my favorite floral sets and seeing them used with the UTEE crackled glass technique is just awesome! Very nice work!
