MIM 170 #2

Does anyone else make meaningless deals with themselves? Like "I'll make 1 masculine card for every girlie card I make?". Well, this is the follow up to my earlier girlie card for this weeks Make It Monday challenge.
I used "Happy Harlequins" stamps, and the diamond cover plate to create the masks. "A few pointers" with words from a variety of stamp sets finished it off.

MIM #170

It's been weeks since I've had a chance to sit down quietly and make something so I thought I'd start gently by playing along with this weeks Make it Monday at Papertrey Ink.
I used Summer Sunrise and Melon Berry inks, together with Doodlie doo and wonderful words - birthday stamps and dies.

SSS Wednesday - Masculine

I needed a quick Father's Day card to get in the mail for my Dad over in England (which will hopefully get there in time) so I thought I'd play along with the Wednesday Challenge at Simon says stamp.

SSS Challenge - Magic

As I was looking through the inspiration pieces for this weeks challenge at Simon Says Stamp I was drawn to Suzz's card, and went to her blog to find out how she did it. I couldn't believe how simple it was to create such a pretty background. One roll of wax paper later, I am amazed to say that it really was a straight forward as she said - and, of course, magic!

MIM #167

This weeks Make it Monday at Papertrey Ink is just downright cruel! How could Betsy post a project so addictive on a week when I really don't have time to just sit and make a whole heap of notebooks, which is, of course, what I now want to do.
I've forced myself to stop at one, but if I find myself with any spare time later in the week then I'm certainly going to be making more.
I used new leaf and limeade ice inks and a selection of PTI stamps on 3 shades of green card stock.
The stamping took a while as I used two sheets of each colour as my card was on the thin side, but putting it all together was really straight forward.
